1983: Steve Jobs introduces the Apple Macintosh ad @ sales meeting in Hawaii

October 23, 1983: Apple founder Steve Jobs swore in his sales teams on the new campaign for the Apple Macintosh. The first Mac was introduces on January 24, 1984. Apple’s famous “1984” television commercial, introducing the Apple Macintosh computer and directed by Ridley Scott, ran on January 22, 1984 at Super Bowl XVIII during a timeout in the third quarter.
